Tattoo Aftercare Checklist
✅ Leave the bandage on for the first few hours (or as instructed).
✅ Wash gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
✅ Apply a thin layer of tattoo-specific balm or fragrance-free moisturizer. (Professional aftercare balm available in-studio for $25.)
✅ Moisturize regularly — keep it slightly moisturized, not soaked.
✅ Don’t pick or peel scabs; let them heal naturally.
✅ Avoid swimming, saunas, or long baths for 2–3 weeks.
✅ Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight while healing. Use sunscreen after it’s healed.
✅ Wear loose, clean clothing over the tattooed area.
✅ Expect redness, peeling, and itching during healing. If you notice excessive swelling, pus, or unusual pain, contact me or a medical professional.

How long does healing take?
🔹 Typical Tattoo Healing Timeline
Days 1–3: Redness, swelling, tenderness. Tattoo may feel like a sunburn.
Days 4–14: Peeling, flaking, and itching begin (normal healing process).
Days 15–30: Surface looks healed, but deeper layers are still repairing. Skin may look slightly shiny or cloudy.

If you need to reschedule, credit may be applied if proper notice is given.
Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours) → Forfeit deposit (unless true emergency, at my discretion).
Chronic reschedulers → After 2 reschedules, deposit no longer transfers.
